INTRA-Lab 2

For this event we the researcher Paolo Marcelli to introduce his work in an open talk and lead a workshop on embodied listening and interpretive instruments.

Paolo Marcelli is a Biomedical Engineer and has worked on ultrasonic sensors for human-plant interaction. He will give an open talk about his work and a workshop on embodied listening and interpretive instruments with plants. He has a background in sensing systems and material- technical mediation, enriching how technological design shapes the sonic representation of more-than-human phenomena

Workshop
Thursday March 27th , 11:00-13:00

An introduction to More-than-Human (MtH) sonic representations through contact microphones. Guided by Paolo Marcelli, participants investigate how material properties, technical configurations, and human gestures shape sonic representations. Collective reflections will focus on embodied experiences of interconnectedness, while questioning human-centric storytelling of MtH sounds.
